Installing the Integration

The application installation requires access to the QRadar console machine via a web interface. The web interface can be accessed via https://<QRadarConsoleIP>/. The installation process is as follows:

  1. Login to the QRadar console.

  1. Go to Admin → Extensions Management.

  2. Choose the downloaded zip file by clicking on Add.

  3. The QRadar will prompt a list of changes made by the app.

  4. Ensure that the option “Start a default instance for each app” is checked. Click on the Install button.

  5. Thereafter, it will show a window that the App is installed successfully along with a list of different components of the App.

  6. Deploy changes on the Admin Panel, clear cache, and refresh the browser window.

  7. Navigate to Extensions Management via Admin panel. After successful installation, users will show an “Installed” status against “Infoblox App For QRadar - QRadar v7.4.3 GA+”.

  8. After app installation, follow the steps to increase the max payload size in QRadar.

    1. Navigate to System settings by going to the Admin panel.

    2. Click on the button under Switch To → Advanced.

    3. There is one option: Max TCP Syslog Payload Length. Below is a screenshot for quick reference:

    1. Increase the value of that field to 32000.

    2. Click on the Save button.

    3. Click on Deploy Changes. It is recommended to choose the ‘Full Deploy’ option.
