AWS EBS Volume Type and Size

General Purpose SSD (gp2) EBS volumes should be used for Infoblox vNIOS for AWS instances.

Volume size:

  • NIOS X5 models: 250 GiB.

  • NIOS X6 models: 500 GiB

For reporting appliances only (NIOS 8.6.2 and later), you must add an additional volume. This volume should have a minimum size of 250 GiB.
