Modifying DNS Zones

Complete the following steps to modify DNS Zones: 

  1. Go to Manage > Migrations.  

  1. Click [Workspace_Name]. 

  1. Click the required [DNS_Migration_Workload_Name]. 

  1. Modify the following parameters as required: 

  • DNS Zones: Select one or more entries and click Set Import Options. You can set the import options for one entry or multiple entries at once.  Configure the following in the Set Import Options dialog: 

    • Set Zone Type: Choose one of the following option: 

      • Primary 

      • Secondary 

      • Forward 

      • Stub 

    • Set Import Option: Choose one of the following options: 

      • Do not import 

      • Import 

    • Set View: Select the view from the list. 

    • Set Servers: Choose Grid Member or Name Server Group. 

    • Set Name Server Group: Select the Name Server Group from the list. 

    • Disable Forwarding: Choose True to disable forwarding. Choose False to enable forwarding. 

    • Modify Allow Transfer To ACL: Click Add and specify the IP address. 

    • Modify Allow Query From ACL: Click Add and specify the IP address. 

    • Modify Allow Update From ACL: Click Add and specify the IP address. 

    • Modify Allow Update Forwarding ACL: Click Add and specify the IP address. 

  1. Click Save & Close.
