Deploying NetMRI Virtual Appliances Using Cloud-init on OpenStack
Deploying NetMRI Virtual Appliances Using Cloud-init on OpenStack
You can automatically deploy NetMRI virtual appliances from a cloud provider such as OpenStack.
To deploy NetMRI virtual appliances:
- Prepare a NetMRI VM configuration file or customization script in the OpenStack terminology.
- Create a NetMRI image on OpenStack.
- Launch a NetMRI instance from that image.
OpenStack uses the cloud-init open-source package to pass the configuration file to the VM. You can also use could-init to deploy remote NetMRI Sandboxes as OpenStack instances.
