To upgrade from NIOS 8.x to 9.0.1, perform the following steps:

  1. Apply the NIOS-98022 hotfix. For more information, see IBCustomer

  2. Download the new upgrade software.

  3. Upload the upgrade software to the Grid Master.

  4. Distribute the software upgrade files.

  5. Test the upgrade.

  6. Perform the actual upgrade.
