Uploading the NIOS Virtual Image on Nutanix AHV

To upload the NIOS virtual image on Nutanix AHV from Prism web console, do the following:

1. Log in to the Infoblox Support site.
2. On the Downloads tab, complete the following steps to download the image:
   1. Infoblox Software: Select NIOS/vNIOS.
   2. Select release type: Select the release type as General maintenance products with full engineering support for routine patches and bug fixes on all significant issues.
   3. Select version: Select the vNIOS version.
   4. vNIOS for Nutanix section: Download the qcow2 image.
3. Log in to the Nutanix Web Console (also called the Prism web console).
4. Navigate to Home -> Settings -> Image Configuration.
5. Click Upload Image.
6. On the Create Image screen, complete the following details:
   • Name: Enter a name for the image.
   • Annotation: Enter a description for the image.
   • Image Type: Select Disk.
   • Storage Container: Select a storage container.
   • Image Source: Select Upload a file. Then browse to the respective path and select the qcow2 file that you downloaded.
7. Click Save.
