Deploying vNIOS for Azure from the Marketplace

vNIOS for Azure virtual appliances can be deployed from Azure Marketplace on Azure public cloud and Azure Government cloud only.
Starting from NIOS 9.0.1, vNIOS for Azure virtual appliances can be deployed only with managed disks. Deploying the appliances with unmanaged disks is supported only on versions prior to NIOS 9.0.1.
You can easily download and deploy vNIOS for Azure virtual appliances directly from Azure Marketplace. The vNIOS for Azure virtual appliance is pre-configured for Microsoft Azure. Hence, you only need to take a few easy steps to complete the deployment.
Before deploying the appliances, ensure that your setup meets the requirements listed in the Prerequisites section. For the list of available vNIOS for Azure plans corresponding to the version of NIOS you want to deploy, see the following table:

To deploy a vNIOS for Azure virtual appliance directly from Azure Marketplace, complete the following steps:
For Azure, go to Microsoft Azure web site. For Azure Government Cloud, go to Microsoft Azure Government Cloud web site.
Sign in to your Microsoft Azure account.
In the Microsoft Azure portal, search for and click the Marketplace service.
In the Search field, enter infoblox as the search filter.
In the search result, click a plan based on the version of NIOS that you intend to deploy the instance with.
For the list of plans, see the List of vNIOS for Azure Plans table.Click Create, and then complete the steps described in the following topics to deploy vNIOS for Azure:

From Azure Marketplace you can deploy only one vNIOS instance per resource group, whereas, from the Azure CLI, you can deploy multiple vNIOS instances per resource group.
