Deploying vNIOS for GCP
Before you deploy vNIOS for GCP, ensure that you go through the Introduction topics and complete the Prerequisites. The deployment of vNIOS for GCP includes following steps:
Uploading Images to the Project: This section has instructions on how to upload the vNIOS tarball file on GCP and create a custom image that you can use to create a vNIOS instance.
Deploying the vNIOS instance: Based on the deployment you intend to use, see the following sections for instructions:
Deploying a Two Network Interfaces Instance of vNIOS for GCP: This section has instructions on how to deploy a vNIOS instance that is configured with two network interfaces.
Deploying a Single Network Interface Instance of vNIOS for GCP: This section has instructions on how to deploy a vNIOS instance that is configured with a single network interface in VPC or shared VPC environments on GCP.
Deploying a vNIOS for GCP Instance with HA in NIOS 9.0.4 or later: This section has instructions on how deploy vNIOS instances in an HA setup.
vNIOS Grid Deployment Diagrams
Google Cloud networks are called virtual private clouds (VPCs). For more information, refer to https://cloud.google.com/vpc/. Using Infoblox vNIOS for GCP, you can control, provision, and manage IP addresses in your GCP VPCs. The following architecture diagrams illustrate the vNIOS Grid deployment on GCP:

Note
Infoblox recommends that you back up your existing configuration before making any changes to your Grid, including the provisioning of a NIOS virtual appliance.
