Before you deploy vNIOS for GCP, ensure that you go through the Introduction topics and complete the Prerequisites. The deployment of vNIOS for GCP includes following steps:

1. Uploading Images to the Project: This section has instructions on how to upload the vNIOS tarball file on GCP and create a custom image that you can use to create a vNIOS instance.

2. Deploying the vNIOS instance: Based on the deployment you intend to use, see the following sections for instructions:

   • Deploying a Two Network Interfaces Instance of vNIOS for GCP: This section has instructions on how to deploy a vNIOS instance that is configured with two network interfaces.

   • Deploying a Single Network Interface Instance of vNIOS for GCP: This section has instructions on how to deploy a vNIOS instance that is configured with a single network interface in VPC or shared VPC environments on GCP.

   • Deploying a vNIOS for GCP Instance with HA in NIOS 9.0.4 or later: This section has instructions on how deploy vNIOS instances in an HA setup.
