Creating GCP Service Account

To create a GCP service account, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to http://console.cloud.google.com.
2. In the Navigation menu, click IAM & admin -> Service accounts.
   
   
3. Click Create Service Account.
   
   
4. In the Create service account panel, complete the following:
   
   • Service account details: Enter a name for the service account and click Create.
     
     

   • Service account permissions (optional): Select and assign roles to the service account from the drop-down list, and then click Continue.
     
     

     Note

     For GCP vDiscovery, you must assign Project -> Viewer and Compute Engine -> Compute Viewer roles.

   • Create key: Click Create Key, and then select the Key type as JSON. Click Create.
     
5. The JSON file gets downloaded and saved in your local disk. The JSON file contains key details that are necessary to establish a connection between Infoblox NIOS and GCP.
