The latest release of vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift includes the following new enhancements:

Support for IB-1415 vNIOS Appliance (NIOSRFE-939)

Starting from NIOS 9.0.5, vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift is supported on IB-V1415 appliances.

Support for Subscriber Policy Features (NSP-8)

Starting from NIOS 9.0.4, vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift instances running on NIOS 9.0.4 or later can be configured with features that support Subscriber services such as Accelerated DNS Protection/Threat Protection, DNS Caching Acceleration, and dnstap.

Support for IB-V926, IB-V1516, IB-V1526, and IB-FLEX Appliances (NIOSRFE-707 and NSP-8)

Starting from NIOS 9.0.4, vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift is supported on IB-V926, IB-V1516, and IB-V1526 Trinzic X6 appliances and on IB-FLEX appliances. For information on appliance specification, see About Infoblox vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift.

Support for DHCP Service, HA, and IPv6 Configuration (RFE-12835)

The Infoblox vNIOS for Red Hat OpenShift instances running on NIOS version 8.6.3 has the following enhancements:

  • Provide DHCP services.

  • Support HA configuration

  • Support network connectivity with IPv6 networks
