Modifying DHCP Subnet Profiles

You can modify the name, description, or tags of an existing DHCP Config Profile. You can also associate NIOS-X Servers with the DHCP Config Profile.

To modify a DHCP Config Profile, complete the following:

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Networking > IPAM/DHCP > DHCP Config Profiles. The list of DHCP Subnet Profiles is displayed.

  2. Click ☰ > Edit or select the respective record and click the Edit button to modify a DHCP Subnet Profile.

  3. Modify the details and click Save & Close to save the record or click Cancel to cancel.

Note

You can add a subnet only while modifying a DHCP Subnet Profile. When you add a subnet, the DHCP Subnet Profile is assigned to it.

When modifying a DHCP Subnet Profile, you can view the leases, DHCP options, DDNS details, and filters that are inherited from the Global DHCP Configuration. You can also override these values. For more information, see Global DHCP Configuration.Â
