Starting from version 7.6.0, NETMRI EC2 instance can be deployed in Amazon Web Services.

Prerequisites

To upload either NetMRI or Sandbox images to AWS, ensure you fulfill the following:

  • Your AWS user has the necessary permissions for deployment as per the AWS documentation.

  • You have installed AWS CLI tools version 2 on your local machine, the steps provided in this guide are tested with version 2 of the AWS CLI tools.

  • Credentials for AWS CLI tools are properly configured on your local machine

  • gunzip and tar tools are installed for uncompressing images

  • Ensure that the correct AWS region is chosen into which you want to upload the AMI

Note: You should have at least 10Gb free space on your machine for VMDK files
