You must first create an anycast configuration profile prior to configuring an anycast service instance for use with hosts. For information on how to create anycast services instances, see Creating Anycast Services.

To create an anycast configuration profile, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > Anycast.
  2. Click Create Anycast Configuration.
  3. In the Create Anycast Config dialog, complete the following:
    • Name: Enter the name of the anycast configuration.
    • Anycast IPv4 Address: Enter the Anycast IPv4 address. Up to two IPv4 IP addresses may be added when setting up anycast. Anycast supports the following IP addresses for BloxOne Threat Defense: 52.119.40.100 and 103.80.5.100. For BloxOne DDI, the administrator is required to specify the IP address as required. 
    • Anycast IPv6 Address: Enter the anycast IPv6 address.
    • Description: Enter the description of the anycast configuration.
    • Service: From the Select Service drop-down list, choose the service to be used with the anycast configuration.
    • Expand the Tags section and add tags for this anycast configuration. For more information, see Managing Tags.
    • Expand the Service Instances section, click Add and complete the following:
      • NAME: Click Select List and choose a host from the drop-down list. 
  4. Click Save & Close to save the updated configuration.

After you have created an anycast configuration profile, you can proceed to creating an anycast service instance. For information, see Creating Anycast Services.
