When you modify a DNS config profile, you can view the queries, recursion details, DNSSEC details, server details, and EDNS client subnet configuration details that are inherited from Global DNS Properties. You can override these values. For more information, see Global DNS PropertiesYou can also associate hosts with the DNS Config Profile. 

To modify a DNS config profile, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage -> DNS -> DNS Config Profiles.

  2. Click  -> Edit or select the check box for the respective record and click the Edit button to modify a DNS config profile.

  3. Hosts: Click Add to add a host. Click the host from the list and click Select.
  4. Modify the details and click Save & Close to save the record or click Cancel to cancel.

Note

You can add an host only while modifying a DNS Config Profile. When you add a host, the DNS Config Profile is assigned to it. 

When modifying the DNS config profile, you can choose to order the hosts automatically by selecting Order DNS Views Automatically. To order the hosts manually, select Order DNS Views Manually and use the arrow icon to order the hosts as required.
