Modifying As-a-Service

Once you create a NIOS-X service and configure all the settings, you can modify the configuration as required. There are multiple ways to edit once the service is deployed. You can view the deployments by filtering them based on Location or Configuration.

Modifying the configuration in Location view

Complete the following steps to modify a Service:

1. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > As-A-Service.

2. At the top of the View pane, choose Location.

3. Choose a Service Deployment, click Edit button on the left bottom corner and configure one of the following cards:

   • Service Properties: You can modify the following:

     • Click the Name field to edit the name. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click the Description to edit the description. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click Add access to add a new service deployment. Configure the parameters for the new Service Deployment and click Save.

   • Service Capabilities: You can modify the following:

     • DHCP: Click on the Configuration field and choose a different policy from the drop-down.. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • DNS: Click on the Configuration field and choose a different policy from the drop-down. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Security: Click on the Configuration field and choose a different policy from the drop-down.. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Add Capability: Click Add Capability to add another capability to the Service. This option is available only if all three capabilities are not yet added to the Service. Choose the services to add. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

   • Service Deployments: Click Add to add a new Service Deployment. Configure the parameters and click Save. For more information on adding a Service Deployment, see Creating a Service Deployment.

Complete the following steps to modify an Access Location:

1. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > As-A-Service.

2. At the top of the View pane, choose Access Location.

3. Expand a Service Deployment, choose a Country, and the Access Location you want to edit. Click Edit and configure one of the following cards:

   • Service Properties: You can modify the following:

     • Click the Name field to edit the name. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click the Country field to edit the country. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click the Post Code field to edit the postal code. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click the WAN IP Address(es) edit the WAN IP addresses. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click More Attributes to modify the Country, Post Code, WAN IP Address(es), LAN Subnets, and contact details. Click Save.

   • Service Deployment: Click ⋮ and choose Edit to edit the Service Deployment. Modify the required fields and click Save. You can only modify the Name and Credentials.

Modifying the configuration in Configuration view

Complete the following steps to modify a Service Deployment:

1. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > As-A-Service.

2. At the top of the View pane, choose Configuration.

3. Choose a Service Deployment, click Edit button on the left bottom corner, and configure one of the following cards:

   • Service Properties: You can modify the following:

     • Click the Name field to edit the name. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click the Description to edit the description. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Click Add access to add a new service deployment. Configure the following parameters and click Save.

   • Service Capabilities: You can modify the following:

     • DHCP: Click Configuration to choose a different policy. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • DNS: Click Configuration to choose a different policy. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Security: Click Configuration to choose a different policy. Click the checkmark to save the changes.

     • Add Capability: Click Add Capability and choose the services to add. Click the checkmark to save the changes.
