The GENERAL INFORMATION page displays the following information about a host:

  • The overall status of the host: This can be Online, Error, or Pending.

  • Platform Management: Displays the current status of the host platform. If the status if Error, BloxOne displays the problem related to the error. For example, the platform can be disconnected and display an Error status.

  • Application Management: Displays the current status of the application on the host. If the status is Error, BloxOne displays the problem related to the error. For example, the platform can be disconnected and display an Error status.

In the SERVICES section, the following information is displayed for all services that are currently running on the hosts:

  • Create Service: Click this and choose a service from the drop-down menu to create the service on this host. If you have applied a template to the host and the Lock Type is Unlocked or Monitored, you can add a new service to the host as well.

  • Service Name: The name of the services running on the host.

  • Service Status: The current status of the service.

  • Service Type: The type of the service.

  • Service Status Change: The timestamp in the specific time zone when the service status was last updated.

In the TEMPLATE INFO section, the following information is displayed if you have applied a template to the host:

  • Associated Template: The name of the template that was applied to the host. For information on how to apply a template to the host, see Applying Templates to Hosts.

  • Lock Type: This can be Locked, Unlocked, or Monitored. Depending on the status of the lock type, you might or might not be able to add, modify, or add services that are not currently in the template configuration. For information on how to set the lock type on a host, see Setting Lock Type on Hosts. To add a new service to the host, click Create Service in the SERVICES section and choose a desired service from the drop-down menu.

  • Drift: The status of this field determines whether the host is adhered to the template configuration or has drifted from it. If the drift status is True, the host has drifted from the template. If the drift status is False, the host is adhering to the template configuration.

Click General Information next to a services to view more information about the service. For information, see Viewing General Service Information.

  • Host IP Address: The IP address of the host. The current release supports only IPv4 addresses.

  • NAT IP Address: The IP address of the NAT (Network Address Translation) of the host.

  • Local Time/Timezone: The local time in and time zone of the host’s location.

  • Created: The timestamp of the moment the host was created, formatted as mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss time zone.

  • Last Seen: The most recent time the host was active or online.

  • Uptime: The amount of time the host has been up and running. This tells you how long the host has been up and running since its last restart or reboot. This data is synchronized and updated every 60 seconds. Use this data together with the Last Seen data to determine the root cause of connection-related issues for the host.

  • Version: The version number of the on-prem agent running on the host.

  • MAC Address: The discovered MAC address of the host.

  • Serial Number: The serial number of a physical appliance. For virtual appliances, this is shown as N/A. You can look up the serial number through the VM console.

  • OPHID: The auto-generated unique ID of the host.

  • Last Update: The UTC timestamp of the most recent update of the services.

  • IP Space: The IP space associated with the host.

For Platform Management, the Cloud Services Portal displays the following:

  • Version: The version number of the BloxOne platform running on the host.

The LOCATION section appears only if you have associated this host with a location profile. The following is displayed:

  • Location Name: The name of the location profile.

  • Address: If entered, the address of the location, if entered.

  • Contact: If entered, the contact information of the location, including contact name, telephone number, and email address.

  • Latitude/Longitude: If entered, the latitude and longitude of the location in decimal degrees.

  • Map: The exact position of the location in a light blue marker on the map.
