To reset the B1-212 appliance using the Device UI, do the following:

  1. Log in to the Cloud Services Infoblox Portal.
  2. Click Manage Configure -> On-Prem Hosts Servers.
  3. On the On-Prem Hosts page, select the on-prem host you want to configure.
  4. Click the On-Prem Hosts drop-down menu, and then select Local Access to enable local access to the B1-212 appliance.
  5. In the Enable Local Access dialog,

    complete the following:
    • Username: Enter the login user name for the B1-212 appliance.
    • Password: Enter the last eight digits of the serial number for the B1-212 appliance.

    Click click Enable. Local access to the appliance is granted for two hours.

  6. Log in to the Device UI. For information about the Device UI, see Troubleshooting Hosts.
  7. Click Administration -> Reset Host from the left pane menu.
  8. On the Administration page, click Reset for Factory Reset.
  9. In the Confirm your action dialog, complete the following:
    • Enter your password: Enter the last eight-digit seven or eight digits for the serial number mentioned on the Service Tag of your B1-212 appliance212 appliance. 
  10. Click Confirm to proceed with the factory reset.
  11. Once the reset process is complete, you can set up and reconfigure the appliance, as described in Deploying the B1-212 Physical Server.
