Identity groups are users or user attributes you can add to your security rules.

You can combine multiple identity objects into a group that serves a specific purpose.

On the Identity Groups page, the Cloud Services Portal displays the following information for each identity group:

  • NAME: The name of the identity group.
  • IDENTITY ATTRIBUTES: The identified attributes of the group.
  • IDENTITY OBJECT GROUPS: The number of identity object groups included in this group. When you expand Identity Object Groups, details of the nested identity object groups appear in the panel on the right.

You can do the following on the Identity Groups page:

  • View the name and other details of a group: Select the group and view its details in the panel of the right or by clicking .
  • Modify a group: Click  Edit, or select the checkbox for the group and click the Edit button.
  • Remove a group: Click  Remove, or select the group and click the Remove button.
  • Search for groups by keyword: In the Search text box, enter the keyword that you want to search on. The application displays the list of groups.
