Configuring Groups
In a deployment of BloxOne Service Edge, objects are entities that you configure to be included in your edge rules. First, create granular objects that identify specific IP addresses, FQDNs, protocols, source ports, destination ports, and user identities. Next, include these objects in the security rules that impose certain actions for delivering security to your edge infrastructure. For more information on using objects, see Configuration Examples.
An object group is used to categorize objects. For example, you can create an object group that includes network addresses within a specific location, or you can create an identity group that includes user groups allowed to access certain content.
