This section lists the Infoblox vNIOS for AWS appliance models and their specifications. You load the Infoblox vNIOS for AWS AMI (Amazon Machine Image) from the Infoblox Community AMI page and deploy it in your chosen VPC. For more information, see Obtaining the Infoblox vNIOS for AWS AMI.
Depending on your AWS region and the NIOS release your system is running, select an EC2 shape for the corresponding vNIOS for AWS model.

Note
- IB-V4015 vNIOS appliance is supported only in NIOS 8.6.2 and IB-4025 is supported in NIOS 8.5.2 and later versions.
- vNIOS for AWS instances running on NIOS 8.5.2 and later versions can be deployed with IPv4 or IPv6 addresses. Infoblox supports network connectivity with IPv6 addresses only on appliances: IB-V4025 running NIOS 8.5.2 or later and IB-V4015 running NIOS 8.6.2.

Note
- Infoblox supports only r4 type of EC2 shapes and recommends that you choose only those shapes for your reporting vNIOS instances.
- To enable the reporting functionality on IB-V5005 instances, you must open the required ports in the configured security group. For more information, see Defining an AWS Instance Security Group.
