Starting from version 7.6.0, NETMRI EC2 instance can be deployed in Amazon Web Services.

Prerequisites

To upload NetMRI or Sandbox images to AWS, ensure the following:

  • The AWS user should have necessary permissions for deployment as per AWS documentation.

  • You must have AWS cli tools with AWS CLI tools installed in your local machine, the underlying steps were tested with the AWS CLI tools version 2

  • gunzip and tar tools are installed for uncompressing images

  • Ensure that the correct AWS region is chosen into which you want to upload the AMI

Note: You should have at least 10Gb free space on your machine for VMDK files
