DCR (Data Collection Rule) Endpoint

Steps to Create a Data Collection Endpoint for Ingestion API Calls:

1. Search for Data Collection Endpoints:

   • Locate and select the Data Collection Endpoints option in your Azure portal.

2. Click on Create:

   • Select Create and then select the Basic option.

3. Enter Endpoint Details:

   • Endpoint Name: Provide a name for the endpoint.

   • Resource Group: Select the resource group associated with your Log Analytics workspace.

   • Region: Choose the same region as your Log Analytics workspace.

4. Add Tags (optional):

   • Tags can be added to help categorize or manage resources but are not required

5. Review and Create:

   • Review your settings and click Create to finalize the creation of the Data Collection Endpoint.
