Modifying Fixed Address Inheritance

To modify a fixed address' inheritance, complete the following:

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Networking > IPAM/DHCP > Address Spaces.

  2. Click on the IP Space > Address Block > corresponding Subnet. It displays the list of address ranges that are associated with it.

  3. Click☰ > Edit or select the respective record and click the Edit button to modify an address range.

  4. Under DHCP CONFIGURATION, click to open the DHCP Options panel.

  5. To override DHCP Options, slide the Inherit toggle to Override the default inheritance chain.

  6. You can also click Add to add an item type from the following drop-down list options:

    • Option
      • In the Space field, select a space from among the choices in the drop-down menu.
      • In the Name field, select a name from the option list or conduct a search for a name using the search feature.
    • Option Group
      • In the Name field, select a name from the option list or conduct a search for a name using the search feature.

     3. Click Save & Close to save the record or click Cancel to cancel the operation.

Note

In Override mode, you can optionally click Copy Global DHCP Properties to use the global properties inheritance values.
