Configuring PagerDuty Service

To configure service integrations for PagerDuty notifications, do the following:

  1. Log in to Infoblox Portal.

  2. Click the notification icon on the top right corner (next to the global search icon) of the Portal.

  3. In the Notifications panel, click the ellipse icon > View All/Settings.

  4. Click the Service Integrations tab.

  5. Click Add Service Integration and specify the following:

  • Type: From the drop-down menu, select PagerDuty..

  • Name: Enter the name for this pager duty service. This name shows up in the Notification Settings page.

  • PagerDuty URL: This field displays the default PagerDuty URL. You most likely do not need to change this URL.

  • PagerDuty ID: This is a PagerDuty integration ID (also known as the routing key) that you set up on the PagerDuty side.

Click Save & Close. Note that you do not need to validate the PagerDuty configuration because the validation will be performed for the Webhook integration. Please ignore the Validate option while saving the PagerDuty integration. If you try to validate the configuration, you will get a template error.

Note

After you have added or configured new services, they will appear under the Service Integrations tab of the Notifications page. Ensure that you select the new services if you want to send notifications to these services.
