Navigating to a parent zone

You can navigate to a parent zone of a resource record directly from an IP address. 

To navigate to a parent zone, complete the following:

  • From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Networking > IPAM/DHCP > Address Spaces.

  • Click on the IP Space > Address Block > corresponding Subnet. It displays the list of addresses associated with the IP space.

  • Click the respective address.

  • Under Related Objects, right-click on one of the following:

    • A Record
    • PTR Record

  •  Click ☰ and select Navigate to Parent Zone.

The parent zone is displayed.
