Configuring Services

Each protocol service you create will be associated with a service instance, which caters to service-related needs within your Infoblox infrastructure. Service instances enable you to establish connections between your NIOS-X servers and the Infoblox platform based on tagged interfaces designated for a particular service, commonly referred to as an interface label. Furthermore, when configuring a service, service instances are utilized to set up service-specific configurations, including DNS settings and NTP servers.

The Configure > Service Deployment > Protocol Servics page provides a card view and a table view for displaying information. You can toggle between the card and table view by clicking the icon on the upper right corner of the navigation bar.
