Configuring General Information for a Site-To-Site VPN Router

In the General Info tab of the wizard, specify the following:

  • Name (required field): Provide a name for the service instance.

  • Description: Provide a description for the service instance.

  • Service state: Set the toggle switch to start or stop the service.

  • Host (required field): To select a host, do the following:

    • To choose a host from the drop-down list, click Select Host; only available hosts are listed. Alternatively, use the Search tool to locate and select a host.

    • To add the host to the configuration, click Select

The host status might momentarily change to “Degraded” when a new service is added to the host.

  • Tags: Choose this to add tags that you have already configured for BloxOne resources. Supported resources are IP Space, Address Block, Subnet, Range, Fixed Address, and IPv4 Reservation. You can then reference these resources in the rule, in the form of tags or as a direct resource object. For more information, see Managing Tags.

Click Add, and specify the following:

KEY: From the drop-down menu, choose the configured tag you want to add. All available tags are displayed in the menu.

VALUE: Choose the corresponding value from the drop-down menu for the selected tag. All available values are displayed in the menu. To add more tags to the rule, click Add again.

Ensure that all required information is provided, and click Next to proceed to the next step. If any required information is left empty, an error icon will appear next to the page. To complete missing information, click Back. To exit without saving the configuration, click Cancel. If you have completed all edits and configuration, click Finish.
