Specifying Site-To-Site VPN Options for a Site-To-Site VPN Group

Do the following:

  1. Specify the following:

    • Dynamic Tunnels: When this option is enabled, tunnels are established only if there is traffic. If it is disabled, tunnels are always established.

    • ROUTE PROPAGATION:

      • Always Filter Connected: Select this checkbox to filter out all connected routes to peer sites. A connected route is a network configured on an attached interface. After you select this checkbox, other sites will be unable to reach any connected route on this site.

      • Always Filter Static: Select this checkbox to filter out static routes to peer sites. A static route is a user-configured route. After you select this checkbox, other sites will be unable to reach any static route on this site.

      • Always Filter Learned: Select this checkbox to filter out all learned routes to peer sites. A learned route is a route recognized from peer sites through a routing protocol. After you select this checkbox, other sites will be unable to reach any learned route on this site.

       

  2. Click Next.
