Editing an Internal Domain

To edit an internal domain, do the following: 

  1. From the Infoblox Portal, click Configure > Security > Internal Domains.
  2. On the Internal Domains page, select the internal domain to be edited from among the internal domains listed on the page by selecting the box located to the left of the internal domain. 
  3. On the Internal Domains page, click Edit located on the top Action bar.
  4. On the Edit Default Bypass Domains/CIDRs page, complete the following:
    • Name: Provide a name for the Internal Domain list.
    • Description: Provide a description for the Internal Domain list.
    • Internal Domains: In the Internal Domains section, do the following:
      1. Click Add  to open DOMAIN/IP ADDRESS/SUBNET panel.
        • DOMAIN/IP ADDRESS/SUBNET: Add the edited internal domain to the list. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses and CIDRs can be added.. This is useful when the local network contains IPv6 addresses in addition to IPv4 addresses and ensures seamless integration of Infoblox Threat Defense in the network.
      2. In the editable field, add a domain, IP address, or subnet.
  5. Click Save & Close to save your configuration.
