autoupdate command

Use the autoupdate command to update your system from the update server or update files provided by Infoblox. For more information, see Manually Updating NetMRI Software.

Syntax

autoupdate [auto[force-major]]|[files]

If update files are not specified at the command line, the system runs the update from the server in interactive mode.

The following table describes the options available for the autoupdate command.

OptionDescription

auto

Sets the AutoUpdate process to function automatically.
The update runs in non-interactive mode. Hotfixes are downloaded and installed; major updates are downloaded only.

Example:

autoupdate auto

force-major

Allows automatic updates in all circumstances, including major updates.

Example:

autoupdate auto force-major
