To view the details of rules within a health probe policy of an edge, do the following:
- In the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > Service Edge > Edges.
- Click the edge and, in the panel on the right, click the
icon. Note that this panel might already have expanded when you logged in. - Click the profile link (in blue) to expand the section, and then click the number link next to it. The number represents the total number of health probe rules in the policy.
The HA Rules dialog opens and displays the following information:
- NAME: The name of the HA rule associated with the edge.
- SERVICE TYPE: HA protocol type. Routing protocol is the only HA protocol available at this time.
- NAME: The name of the HA rule associated with the edge.
- Click Expand all rows to view the following:
- Probe Rules: Health probe rules that you want to associate with the HA rule.
- Protocol Type: Routing protocol for your HA implementation. Available protocols are RIP and BGP.
- Metric: Metric value that determines the feasibility of a Service Edge instance serving as the primary or secondary node.
