Cloning a Port-Forwarding Policy

Use the cloning feature to create a port-forwarding policy by reusing the properties of an existing port-forwarding policy. Do the following:

  1. In the Cloud Services Portal, go to Manage > Firewalls > Edge Firewalls > Port Forwarding Policies.

  2. Select the policy you would like to clone, and click Clone. Selecting more than one policy will disable the button.

  3. Populate the following fields:

    1. Name: Create a name that does not exceed 64 characters in length. Use numbers, any special characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and even spaces. Start and end the name with any character but not a space. Leading and trailing spaces will be trimmed off automatically.

    2. Description: Enter a description that does not exceed 256 characters in length.

    3. Priority: This field should contain the value inherited from the policy you are cloning. However, the field is modifiable.

  4. Click Next.

  5. In the Port Forwarding Rules tab, examine the rules that have been inherited from the policy you are cloning. To modify the rules, use the Add Rule, Edit, and Remove buttons.

  6. Click Next.

  7. In the Summary tab,

    1. Review the rule you have created.

    2. Click Back to modify the configuration, Cancel to close the wizard without saving the configuration, or Save & Close to save the configuration and close the wizard.
