Configuring Address Groups
Configuring Address Groups
Address groups are network IP addresses or devices for which you set up security policies. You can include multiple addresses and FQDNs in one address group.
You can group multiple address groups to create an address object group that serves a specific purpose. For example, you can create address groups that represent your Engineering organizations in different locations, and then add all address groups to one address object group that represents the umbrella Engineering organization. For more information, see BloxOne Service Edge
The Address Groups page displays the following information for all configured address groups:
- NAME: The name of an address group.
- ADDRESSES: The total number of IP addresses and FQDNs represented by an address group. These are shown in the panel on the right.
You can do the following in the Address Groups tab:
- View IP addresses and other details of a group: Select the group and view its details in the panel on the right or by clicking .
- Modify a group: Click > Edit, or select the checkbox for the object and click the Edit button.
