Sizing Guidelines for Custom RPZ Feeds

At most, 6 million records can be added to a custom RPZ feed. This limit includes all available feeds, such as Infoblox-curated data, Infoblox’s third-party data, and any uploaded data you provide.

Estimating RPZ Feed’s Size

When creating a custom RPZ feed, keep the following in mind:  

• The size restriction applies only to Custom RPZ feeds created after the restriction was introduced. Custom feeds created before the restriction was introduced will remain operational and require no new edits.
• If a data feed exceeds the limit, for example, because records have been added to the underlying threat class or type chosen by Infoblox, then the data feed will remain operational. The maximum size limit applies only to the new custom RPZ based on the indicator count at the time of creation.
• If the number of data records in a custom RPZ feed exceeds 6 million, then a second custom RPZ feed can be created to accommodate the additional records.
