Managing Data Connectors

You can view all connected and disconnected Data Connectors on the Manage -> Data Connector page of Cloud Services Portal, which allows you to manage all of your on-prem devices. You can also view your Data Connectors on the Manage -> On-Prem Hosts page. The portal gives you a collective view of all of your on-prem devices, including all Data Connectors in the network, For more information about viewing your Data Connectors and their current state, see Viewing Data Connectors.

To manage Data Connectors, you can do the following on the Manage -> Data Connector page:

  • Filter Data: Click  to filter the on-prem hosts by name, type, and description. You can also filter the on-prem hosts by their approval status. For example, you can view all the hosts that are in the Awaiting Approval state and approve or deny them at the same time.
  • Reorder Data: Click to reorder the columns.
  • Modify Host Data: Click   -> Edit or select the check box for the respective record and click the Edit button to modify an on-prem host.

  • Start or Stop Services: Click Service and choose DCD from the drop-down menu to either start or stop the Data Connector service on the respective host. Ensure that you select the check box beside the host to start or stop the service.

  • View Host Details: Select an on-prem host to view the details on the right panel. You can view additional details about the on-prem host, such as hardware type, MAC and IP addresses, API key, license, and the services that are associated with the host. If you do not want to view the details in the right panel, click .

  • Search: Enter the value that you want to search in the Search text box. The application displays the list of records matching the keyword in the text box.
