Modifying Data Connectors

To modify an on-prem host running the CDC service, complete the following:

  1. From the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage -> On-Prem Hosts. 
  2. Click  -> Edit or select the check box for the respective Data Connector, and then click the Edit button to modify host data, as follows:
    • NAME: The name of the Data Connector.
    • DESCRIPTION: Enter additional information about the Data Connector.
    • TAGS: Click Add to associate keys with the Data Connector and specify the following:
      • KEY: Enter a meaningful name for the key, such as a location or a department.  

      • VALUE: Enter a value for the key. Select the respective check box and click Remove to delete the associated key. For information about tags, see Using Tags.

    • Applications & Services:

      • LICENSES: Displays information about the license, license tier, and any additional information about the license.

      • SERVICES: Displays the list of services associated with the respective licenses and their current states. Enable the Data Connector service. You can enable or disable a particular service by moving the slider respectively.

  3. Modify the details and click Save & Close to save the configuration, or click Cancel to cancel.

    Note

    Virtual on-prem hosts are automatically created when they are connecting to the Cloud Services Portal using a valid token.
