To create an address group, do the following:

  1. In the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > Service Edge > Objects > Address Groups.

  2. Click Create.
  3. On the Add New Address Group dialog, do the following:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the address group. Create a name that does not exceed 64 characters in length. Use numbers, any special characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and even spaces. Start and end a name with any character but not a space. Leading and trailing spaces will be trimmed off automatically.
    2. Click Add and choose one of the following from the TYPE drop-down list. When you add address groups, you are adding the matching object types and values to be associated with a security rule.
      • ANY: No IP address is specified, so any address or device can be a source.
      • IP: Select this to use an IP address for the address object. Enter a valid IP address in the VALUE field.
      • Address Object Groups: Select this to add an existing address object group. From the drop-down menu VALUE, choose the address object group list.
      • FQDN: Select this to add domain names to the address object. Enter a valid FQDN in the VALUE field.
      • Wildcard FQDN: Select this to add domain names by using the wildcard character. In the VALUE field, enter a valid FQDN that starts with the wildcard character.
    • To remove an existing address group from the list, select the group and click Remove.

4. Click Save & Close.
