Creating Custom Objects

To create a custom object, do the following:

1. In the Cloud Services Portal, click Manage > Service Edge > Objects > Custom Objects.

2. Click Create.

3. In the Add Custom Object wizard, specify the following information:

• In Name, enter a name for the service object. Start and end with alphanumeric characters, and use only lowercase alphanumeric characters, periods (.), and hyphens (-). 
• Click Add and specify the following information:
  
  • NAME: Enter a name for this object. This object can be an address, a service, or an identity object.
  • OBJECTS: Depending on your object type, enter the IP address, FQDN, supported protocol, or identity group for the object. Use a comma to separate multiple values. This field supports the CIDR notation

To remove an existing custom object from the list, select the object and click Remove.

4. Click Save & Close to save the details, or click Cancel.
