Exporting Data

You can export objects from the Infoblox Portal to a JSON or CSV file that you can use for future imports. For information on the supported object types and the import/export process, see Importing and Exporting Data.

To view export events, go to Configure > Administration > Data/Export > Data Export. The following information is shown for each export:

  • Filename: The name of the exported file.
  • Created by: The account name of the user who exported the file.
  • Start time: The start time of the export.
  • End time: The end time of the export.
  • Object Type: The number and object types in the exported data.
  • Status: An indication of whether the export is in progress (active), complete, or failed.
  • Download: The download status of the exported file.
  • Error: If the export operation failed, this is the link to the error log that describes the reason of the failure.

You can do the following in this tab:

  • Click Sort By to sort by Created by, Description, Name, Start time or Status. 
  • Click the sort button, the sort icon , to sort in ascending or descending order.
  • Enter the keyword in the Search field, to search for a particular entry. 
  • Click the filter button, the filter icon, to filter by Name, Description, Created By, Start time or Status. 

To export data, complete the following:

  1. Go to Configure > Administration > Data Import/Export > Data Export.
  2. Click Export.
