Limitations
When creating or editing a JSON or CSV file, the following limitations apply:
- Exported data is downloadable only through the user account that originally created the exported data.
- Option code must not contain a comma. The option code is specified in the format <Option Space, Option Code> where a comma is used as a delimiter.
- Integration between a DNS view and IP space is not supported. If there is an association between a DNS view and IP space, it will not be retained when exporting to a JSON or CSV format.
- When you export NTP configuration from the Infoblox Portal, the key value in the
ntp_keys
section is automatically removed from the exported spreadsheet as a security measure. If you later plan to import the same spreadsheet, you must add back the key value of thentp_keys
section to the spreadsheet before the import. Otherwise, you will encounter the following error during importing: HTTP interceptor error: ntp key type and value must be specified. - For CSV-based imports, all column headers are required and must maintain the same order in which they are exported.
- The following objects are not supported:
- DNS
- Delegated Zone
- DNS Servers (Hosts)
- DNS Server Groups
- Named Access Control Lists
- IPAM/DHCP
