Viewing Service Logs for NIOS

After onboarding NIOS and enabling Cloud Grid Management in NIOS, you can view the service logs.

Complete the following steps to view the service logs from the Servers page:

  1. Log on to the Infoblox Portal.

  2. Go to Servers.

  3. Go to [NIOS Grid Manager] > General Information > Logs.

You can see the logs specific to the NIOS Grid Manager.

Complete the following steps to view the service logs from the Protocol Service page:

  1. Log on to the Infoblox Portal.

  2. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > Protocol Service.

  3. Filter Service Type to NIOS Grid Manager and click Apply.

  4. Click the specific Grid Manager.

  5. Click ⋮ and choose Logs.

  6. Click Display Recent.

  7. You can view the service logs.

The following status messages are shown:

  • NIOS Grid Manager moved from one host to another (HA Failover/GMC promotion)

  • Federation is disabled (cleaning up federation related infra resources).

  • Cleanup failed.

  • Grid Connected.

  • Grid Disconnected.

  • Failed to receive service status from NIOS Grid. 

You can also go to Monitor > Logs > Service Logs and filter the logs by NIOS Grid Manager.
