Creating NTP Services

Before you create a new NTP (Network Time Protocol) service, see About the NTP Service for information about NTP.

To create an NTP service instance, do the following:

1. Log in to the Infoblox Portal.

2. Go to Configure > Networking > NTP.

3. In the Create NTP wizard, follow the steps in the wizard to create the service, as follows:

   • Configuring General NTP Information

   • Configuring External NTP Servers

   • Binding NTP Service to Network Interfaces

   • Viewing NTP Service Configuration

You can also configure global NTP settings for all NIOS-X servers or override the global NTP setting for individual NIOS-X servers. For more information, see the following:
