Creating DNS Forwarding Proxy Services

Before you create a DNS Forwarding Proxy service, ensure that you understand the best practices when configuring a DNS forwarding proxy on NIOS. For information, see Best Practices for DFP on NIOS.

To create a DNS forwarding proxy service instance, do the following:

  1. Log in to the Infoblox Portal.

  2. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > Protocol Service.

  3. Click Create Service.

  4. From the drop down menu, select DNS Forwarding Proxy.

  5. In the Create DNS Forwarding Proxy wizard, follow the steps in the wizard to create the service, as follows:
