Creating Discovery Services

After you deploy a NIOS-X server, you must associate a Discovery service instance with the server before you can configure discovery properties for Universal Asset Insights.

To create a Discovery service and associate it with a NIOS-X server, do the following:

  1. Log in to the Infoblox Portal.

  2. Go to Configure > Service Deployment > Protocol Service.

  3. Click Create Service.

  4. From the drop down menu, select Discovery.

  5. In the Create Discovery wizard, do the following:
