Starting Maintenance Mode on Servers

To start maintenance mode on a NIOS-X server, complete the following:

1. Log in to the Infoblox Portal.

2. Click the Configure > Servers tab.

3. Choose a server you want to put in maintenance mode and click Server Actions > Maintenance > Start.

4. In the confirmation dialog, Click Confirm.

Note the following when you put a server in maintenance mode:

• It might take up to 15 minutes for the server to get into maintenance mode.
• The Maintenance label and a maintenance icon will appear next to the server name to indicate the server is in maintenance mode.
• To reduce unnecessary traffic, you will not receive any notifications about the server activities when the server is in maintenance mode.
• You can still provision services and perform interface configurations during maintenance mode. All server and service activities continue to function normally during maintenance mode.
