Modifying the Bypass Rules of a DAF Policy

Do one ore more of the following in the Bypass Rules tab:

  • Review the existing bypass rules. Click the icon for a rule, and review the rule’s details.

  • Add a new bypass rule:

    1. Click Add Rule, and specify the following in the Create a DAF Rule dialog:

      • Name: Specify a name that does not exceed 48 characters in length and consists of numbers and lowercase letters.

      • Source IP or Network: Leave as ANY, or specify a valid IP address or network.

      • Destination IP or Network: Leave as ANY, or specify a valid IP address or network.

      • Protocol: Select ICMP, IP, TCP, or UDP.

      • Destination port: Specify a value from 1 to 65535

    2. Click Save. The bypass rule you have added will appear in the list of rules in this DAF policy.

  • Remove a rule:

    1. In the Cloud Services Portal, go to Manage > Firewalls > DNS Assured Forwarding > DNS Assured Forwarding Policies.

    2. Select the policy you would like to remove, and click Remove.

    3. In the Are you sure? dialog, click Cancel or Delete.
